Case Details:
Three males and two females went into the Verizon store on Taunton Ave. One male distracted the clerk while another male went into the backroom and grabbed cell phones. The two females stood in front of the doorway to the backroom to try and block the view of the clerk. The clerk saw the male taking the cell phones and confronted him. The male dropped the cell phones and all five parties fled the store. They left in a newer model white Chrysler Town and Country. Similar incidents occurred on the same day in North Kingstown and Westerly.
