Case Details: EXTREME CAUTION ADVISED - CONSIDER ARMED and DANGEROUS - Wanted by Warwick Police Department for Attempted Murder, 1st Degree Robbery, and Kidnapping- is a young blood gang member : Yara Chum, born in 1988, asian male, 5'08" tall, 150 lbs., black hair, brown eyes, last known to reside 220 Sterling Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island. Also known as Ware Chum.
Chum was involved in a home invasion and shooting at 8 King Street, Warwick, on 10/28/2009. Four other young blood gang members have been arrested and charged in this incident.
The victim of the robbery was shot in the stomach with a .45 semi-automatic handgun and held at gunpoint while the two suspects ransacked the apartment. The handgun has not been recovered.
CAPTURED: 01/12/2010 - Chum was apprehended by the Rhode Island State Police Fugitive Task Force while hiding in the cellar of a house in Providence.
